- In 1995, acquisition and Section 37 transfer of AA Life by AGA Holdings, incorporating IGI Life
- In 1996 AGA Holdings restructured as Capital Alliance Holdings Limited
- In 1996, acquisition and Section 37 transfer of Traduna and ACA by Capital Alliance
- In 1998, formation of Capital Alliance Finance and acquisition of Nova Risk Partners Limited
- In 1998, Capital Alliance disposes of its interest in its non-life assurance subsidiaries to Brait South Africa. Capital Alliance also returns its strategic investments in Brait, Super Group Limited and Corpgro to its shareholders, valued at R2,7 billion
- In 1999, Acquisition of The Standard General Assurance Company Limited, and formation of Southern Distribution Services (SDS) joint venture. Group Solutions @ Capital Alliance focuses on administration of retirement schemes
- In 2001, reinsurance and administration agreement with Fedsure Individual Life including Norwich Life
- In 2002 Integration of the annuity policies of Investec Employee Benefits into our business. Integration of Saambou Life onto our administration platform.
